Study Circles

Canadians are meeting in small groups, or “study circles,” joining thousands of others in more than 180 countries, applying spiritual principles to their lives and communities. This remarkable programme in adult and youth education is perhaps the most widespread single educational programme in the world.

Study circleA study circleAnyone is welcome to join one of the study circles that are organized in hundreds of local communities throughout Canada. Using cooperative and active participation methods, these study circles aim at self- and community transformation. Bahá’ís get together in small groups, inviting anyone that wants to join them, and use discussions and practical exercises to systematically study those spiritual and moral principles that can be directly applied to improving and transforming their lives and expanding their commitment to and desire for personal and collective change.

Based on Bahá’í principles and universal moral values, study circles aim to improve our lives and make the world a better place.
