Prosperity of Humankind

To create conditions of global prosperity that will allow all nations and peoples to progress, a fundamental reshaping of society’s institutions is required. This task requires the participation of not just a chosen few but all the peoples of the earth. It requires a commitment to the establishment of justice as the organizing principle of society. To believe that antagonistic nations and peoples can accomplish an effort of this magnitude is illogical. However, humanity now has within its grasp the tools to enable it to move beyond conflict and disunity into that long-awaited era of global peace that will allow the vision of prosperity to become a reality. Making global prosperity a reality requires rethinking most of the concepts and assumptions currently governing social and economic life. Despite the length of the process or whatever setbacks may be encountered, governance of human affairs must be in accordance with what serves humanity’s real spiritual and material needs.
